The Trolls

Trolls have lived in Andor since time immemorial. They were huge and had enormous strength. They killed at whim and tortured men and animals. Long before Brandur and his friends arrived in Andor, the keepers of the tree of songs fought in great battles with the trolls, who used as weapons anything they could fit in their enormous paws. Twenty years before Legends of Andor begins, the last big battle was fought at the Sommerrock. King Brandur, in an alliance with the keepers, succeeded; this battle ended the Trollwars. For many years, the people of Andor thought that no trolls survived. They were wrong.
