Prehistory

A small band of slaves escapes from their cruel overseers into an unknown land. During their escape, they have to pass the grey mountains and are nearly killed by a dragon. Their leader, a man named Brandur, feels responsible for the people. He fights against the dragon with so much willpower and resolve that the dragon begins to fear for his own immortal life. He allows Brandur and his friends to pass. Ever after, the dragon has sworn revenge against Brandur and sends out his creatures to attack and destroy him.
Legends of Andor starts about eighty years later. In the meantime, Brandur became the king of the land called Andor.
